Made the trek to Chesterfield to pick up the four cakes located there.
96. Kemp Auto Museum
Kemp Auto Museum is "a place where you can immerse yourself in the art and history of the European automobile." It houses the personal collection of Fred M. Kemp, Sr., who acquired over 40 cars in 30 years. We thought it was closed because it was dark and there were no cars in the lot, but it turns out it should have been open when were there. If we're ever in Chesterfield again and have some time to spare, maybe we will visit.
97. Spirit of St. Louis Airport
So named for, and modeled after, the plane flown by Charles Lindbergh in 1927 on his historic transatlantic flight from New York to Paris. The flight took 33 hours, he carried 450 gallons of fuel weighing 2700 pounds, and at times, navigated by the stars.
98. Bonhomme Old Stone Church
For the history buffs, I'll refer you to the posted document to the right.
For everyone else, I'll say that this cake is SO EASY to find, but many cakers will tell you otherwise. I can't stress enough the importance and usefulness of the official map. Use it - it works!!

99. United Hebrew Congregation
This building houses the first formed Jewish congregation west of the Mississippi, started in 1837 by two Jewish immigrants in downtown. Their headquarters moved from the building that is now the Missouri Historical Society at Forest Park to Chesterfield in the 1980s.
151 to go.
